At Renishaw, a short length of canal was partially restored by Renishaw Environmental Action Group and Groundwork
Creswell. A new bridge has been built to replace one with a weight restriction.
The second bridge on the left was formerly a railway line and is now the TransPennine Trail, a public bridleway.
