All members receive regular copies of our award-winning magazine
'The Cuckoo' which will update you of the latest news and forthcoming
events.
Every member is welcome and you are under no obligation to become
any more involved than you should wish. If, however you have any
special or relevant skills or spare time you would like to offer
us we would be delighted to hear from you!
The Chesterfield Canal Trust is a charitable company run entirely
by volunteers and was incorporated in July 1997. In 1998 it took
over the assets of the former Chesterfield Canal Society (founded
1976). The Memorandum and Articles of Association are available
for inspection from the Company Secretary.
The Trust is a member of the Chesterfield Canal Partnership, and
a consortium of local authorities who, together with British Waterways,
are committed to the full restoration of the Chesterfield Canal.
