Python has been moved in to Shireoaks Marina for fit out work.

Recently completed work includes

tiling around the solid fuel stove

front cratch started holes drilled into deck to take cratch base

Most of the deck boards are now at Shireoaks and are being cut and fitted.

Python is being taken up through the 23 locks to the Norwood Tunnel entrance at Kiveton Park on Friday 11th June accompanied by Mick Cheshire's Phoenix. BW East Midlands Area Manager, Sean McGinley, has accepted our invitation to make the trip with us. We are curious to see whether or not Python can get through all these locks to reach the tunnel. If so, she will remain at Kiveton Park overnight and return the next day, leaving at around 13:30. She will be stopping for photo calls and crew refreshments at Turnerwood where the crew will be partaking of a hard-earned ice cream or two.
