Emergency appeal successful
Ten weeks ago we made an emergency appeal for £5,500 to pay our part of the cost of the base pad for the new Staveley Town Lock. We sent out an E-Newsletter to our members and put it in the June edition of our magazine Cuckoo.
Today we have met our target!
We have received £2,500 in donations. We already had £2,400 in the fund. With claimable Gift Aid, we have passed the magic £5,500 that we needed.
We now move on to the next phase which is "Donate a Brick for Staveley Town Lock". This appeal will go out to the wider public and will be launched at our Festival on 17th and 18th July.

Here's one we made earlier. Dixon's Lock was surveyed, engineered and built by our volunteer Work Party and opened in 1995.
