Staveley Basin has begun the next phase of its development with contractors beginning work to build wing walls to support its lock bridge.

Wonderful news in Derbyshire

After all the doom and gloom created by the threat of HS2, problems at Renishaw etc., we suddenly have some superb news from Derbyshire County Council. It owns the canal in Derbyshire and is the Navigation Authority.
